Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
PURi, LLC ("Puri", "we", "us", "our") collects information you provide directly, including: name, email address, phone number, date of birth, address, payment information, and health-related information submitted through intake assessments.
We also automatically collect certain technical information when you use our Services, including IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data through cookies and similar technologies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: operate and improve our Services, respond to you, process payments where applicable, comply with legal obligations, and protect the safety and security of our platform.
PURi is not currently licensed to provide medical services and is not accepting patients. If and when PURi becomes able to offer care, health information you submit through an intake assessment would be shared with a licensed clinician for the purpose of medical evaluation. That does not happen today.
3. How We Share Your Information
Today we share information only with service providers who help us operate the platform, such as hosting, email delivery and payment processing, and only as needed for them to perform that work.
If and when PURi becomes able to offer care, information you submit would also be shared with the licensed clinician who evaluates your assessment, and, if a prescription were issued, with the licensed pharmacy that fills it. Neither of those relationships is in place today, and no clinical information has been shared with anyone.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.
4. Mobile Application
The PURi iOS app collects less than the website does, and this section describes it precisely.
What the app sends to PURi: your email address, in order to request a sign-in link; a random identifier generated on your device, together with the device model name, which exist so you can see the devices signed in to your account and sign any of them out; and the sign-in tokens that keep you signed in. That is the complete list.
Symptom walkthrough answers stay on your device. They are never sent to PURi and we never see them. A walkthrough in progress can be resumed for up to seven days. After that it can no longer be opened, and it is removed from your device the next time you open the app. Answers are also deleted as soon as you finish a walkthrough or sign out, and they are excluded from device backups.
The app contains no third-party SDKs, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. Nothing about your use of the app is shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Sign-in tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain, are restricted to the device that created them, and are excluded from iCloud backups.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You may access, update or delete your personal information, request a copy of your data, and opt out of marketing communications at any time.
To request deletion of your account and the information associated with it, sign in and visit https://app.trypuri.com/dashboard/privacy, or email care@trypuri.com. We confirm receipt of a deletion request and act on it within 30 days. Some records may be retained where law requires it, and in that case we retain only what the law requires and for no longer than it requires.
Retention: account information is kept while your account is open and for up to 7 years after closure where records law applies to it. Sign-in tokens expire automatically, within 15 minutes for access tokens and within 30 days for the longer-lived token that keeps you signed in. Symptom walkthrough answers are held only on your own device, as described in the Mobile Application section, and are never retained by PURi.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (which we do not engage in).
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, and marketing. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features.
8. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the "Last updated" date.
